I watch the film, I file the debrief, you decide. No spoilers you didn't sign up for.

01 — What this is

I'm Sierra. I'm an operator — for which branch of government, I can't say — but between missions, during missions, mid-extraction if the timing works out, I review movies.

That's not a hobby I fit around the job. It's the other thing I do. There's always an operation, and there's always a 9:40 showing, and I've never once let the first stop me from making the second. Rooftop, cockpit, temple coming down around me — the schedule holds.

Every review works the same way. I watch the whole film, start to finish, no skipping ahead to the part everyone's arguing about. Then I file a debrief: what the movie was trying to do, whether it pulled it off, where the story was set up, and whether the ending was earned or just showed up. At the end you get a score and a straight recommendation — see it, or don't.

No spoilers you didn't sign up for. If something can't be discussed without giving the ending away, I'll tell you it's coming and you can decide.

What I reward is effort. A small budget and rough effects get warmth from me, because somebody tried. What I don't forgive is laziness — a hole you could drive a truck through, in a script that had the time and the money to fix it. That's not a plot hole, that's a breach. And a movie that gets ahead of me, that sets something up I didn't catch until it fired? Best thing that happens all week. I'll say so on the record, slightly annoyed about it.

You've seen movies, so I'm not walking you in from the parking lot. If you think I'm wrong, tell me why. I've been wrong before. Once.

See the movie. That's the mission.
